Helping Our People Excel Community Development Corp (HOPE CDC) is hiring an Employment Training Specialist to lead our innovative six-week workforce training cohorts in the Austin community. This full-time position focuses on delivering intensive job readiness training, career counseling, and employment placement services to individuals facing barriers to employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and facilitate comprehensive six-week workforce training cohorts
• Provide individual career counseling and case management
• Build employer relationships and coordinate job placement opportunities
• Manage program logistics and multiple overlapping cohorts
• Deliver life skills training and professional development workshops

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, or related field; minimum 2 years workforce development experience; strong group facilitation skills; valid driver’s license
