Violence Prevention & Community Safety
Building Safer Communities
Through Prevention, Intervention, and Support
HOPE CDC is committed to reducing violence and fostering a safer environment in the Austin community. Through targeted outreach, intervention strategies, and support services, we work to address the root causes of violence and provide individuals with the resources and guidance needed to choose a different path. Our goal is to create a community where safety, healing, and opportunity replace fear and instability.
Community Outreach & Intervention
We actively engage with at-risk individuals and communities to provide immediate support and long-term solutions. Through street outreach, mentoring, and relationship-building, our team connects with those most affected by violence, offering alternatives, crisis intervention, and pathways to positive change.
Conflict Resolution & Mediation
Our conflict resolution programs focus on de-escalating tensions before they lead to violence. We work with individuals, families, and community groups to foster peaceful communication, resolve disputes, and promote understanding. By providing mediation services, we help prevent conflicts from escalating into life-altering situations.
Support for Victims & Families
For those who have been directly impacted by violence, HOPE CDC provides trauma-informed support services. We assist individuals and families in accessing resources such as counseling, financial assistance, and community support networks. Our goal is to offer healing, advocacy, and pathways to recovery for survivors and their loved ones.
